Follow Up In Turkey

I'd like to give you a brief explanation of my fallow-ups on the topic. When I came back  to Istanbul, 'the topic' or I'm hesitating to say but 'the problems' on Ageing was not clearly stated in Turkey. First of all the statistics were not complete so it's not very possible to overview the situation. So we decided to analyze the physical and mental conditions of elderly people taking long-term care in Turkey. A group of 20 people will be doing some neurological and pychiatric tests and search their records for the most common diseases in longterm care centers. Before we atart our project, we'll be trained by a physciatrist and a neurologist from our faculty on the tests we'll be doing. Based on what we have learned in the summer, we'll also question their requirements from young people.

I'll present you the results as soon as we're finished. If you have any
comments or you'd like to start a similar research project in your country,
I'll be very glad to communicate with you.

Let's keep the spirit,

Best regards
