    3- Tuesday 2nd of August 2000:

    Diseases/Health patterns in the ageing process
    Senescence from an evolutionary point of view (Prof. Kirkwood, UK)
    Impact of chronic diseases: implications for community care, home based care, health care costs
    Role of the society: family and social network caregivers (Prof. Jakob Wilson, Brazil)

    4- Wednesday 3rd of August 2000:

    Long term and palliative care: prolongation of life, termination of life (Prof. Rapin, Switzerland)
     

    5- Wednesday 3rd of August 2000 :

    Pharmacology of older people: pluripathology and plurimedication: optimal prescribing in the aged. (possibly a video conference) (Pharmacology Prof. Suggested by pharmacy students)

    6- Thursday 4th of August 2000 :
