PorMSIC
exists since 1983 as a full-member of IFMSA.This National Association of
Medical students (ANEM/PorMSIC) represents the five local associations
of medical students in Portugal. It has 4 Departments - Medical Education,
Public Health, Electives and Exchange. The activities PorMSIC do are also
on a national level, we do every year a National Meeting for 600 medical
students, and a Scientiic Meeting which the students participate with scientific
works made by them, and the rewards are in money for the first three winers
in each category. But, the principal activity is the political one, PorMSIC
participates in several comissions with the government and with the representatives
of the five faculties, and our principal goal is to conquire a better Medical
Education for all the medical students.
